In modern society, modern women bacterial vaginosis is the most commonly encountered health problems , in addition Taiwan climate moist sultry, the feminine private parts problems should be more common. The traditional concept thorough cleaning will only worsen vaginal infections, even with antibiotic treatment, and side effects is not only ineffective, the recurrence rate as high as 50 percent. Lactic acid bacteria are the advantages of the genital tract symbiotic bacteria, by maintaining the acidic environments, the secretion of antimicrobial substances to inhibit the growth of vaginal pathogenic bacteria species or adhesion in epithelial tissues. The purpose of this thesis is the use of lactic acid , H2O2, bacteriocin and the biofilm produced by lactic acid bacteria against the ability of vaginal pathogens.
This experiment screened 9 species of 82 strains of lactic acid bacteria strains. The results showed that lactic acid pH value between 3.6 ~ 4.55 (24h), 3.5 ~ 4.5 (48 h), acidity in the 0.198 ~ 0.045%. H2O2 and lactic acid on Candida albicans, Gardnerella vaginalis and Escherichia coli the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) test, H2O2 on the minimum inhibitory concentration of Candida albicans to 0.116mM, on the minimum inhibitory concentration of Gardnerella vaginalis as 0.029mM, of Escherichia coli minimum inhibitory concentration 0.0116mM, lactic acid on Candida albicans of the minimum inhibitory concentration of 85%, of Gardnerella vaginalis in the minimum inhibitory concentration of 4.25%, on the Escherichia coli minimum inhibitory concentration of 2.125%. Finally, all antimicrobial tests found that this strain Lactobacillus reuteri for Candida albicans and Gardnerella vaginalis rejection the best. Lactobacillus rhamnosus against Escherichia coli is the ability to inhibit the best.
