本研究主旨在探討不同家庭結構對青少年憂鬱情緒之影響情形。本研究之主要目的有四點:(一)瞭解青少年之憂鬱情緒之情形;(二)探討青少年家庭結構對憂鬱情緒之影響;(三)探討青少年感受到同儕支持對憂鬱情緒之影響;(四)探討青少年家庭關係對憂鬱情緒之影響。
本研究資料來自「臺灣青少年成長歷程研究」(TYP)之第一波(即2000年蒐集,樣本學生為臺北市、新北市與宜蘭縣時值國一階段資料)學生的自陳量表,採「分層的多階層叢集抽樣」,符合本研究目標樣本為1,992人,並將所得資料以描述統計、皮爾森積差相關及巢氏迴歸模式分析等統計方法,進行資料處理與分析。
本研究獲致四項結論:(一)家庭結構在解釋青少年憂鬱情緒,並非扮演一個重要的角色。(二)同儕支持越高,青少年憂鬱情緒越少。(三)考量同儕支持或家庭關係效應後,雙親原生家庭與單親家庭的青少年在憂鬱情緒程度上,並沒有存在差異性。(四)納入性別效應後,家庭凝聚力、母親暴力管教、父母限制對青少年憂鬱情緒具有影響力。最後,本研究根據研究結果提出研究建議與限制,以供學校、家庭及未來研究作參考。

This study focuses on the effects of family structure, peers’ supports and family relations on adolescents' depression emotion. The effective sample in this study consisted of 1,992 junior high school students from Taiwan Youth Project (TYP) in 2000. The collected data were analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The results illustrated that the family structure was not an important issue in the explanation of adolescents’ depression emotion. In addition, peers’ supports, gender, family cohesion, violence parenting of mother, and parent’ restriction had effects on the development of adolescents’ depression emotion.
