本研究旨在探討精神鑑定案例(含民事、刑事鑑定)之社會支持系統與生活適應狀況，及其相關性。研究對象以南部某精神專科教學醫院做精神鑑定病患共九十七位，其中男性72人，女性25人，平均年齡39.6歲，為立意取樣。主要研究工具為社會支持量表及生活適應量表。資料分析採用因素分析、獨立樣本ｔ檢定、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關等統計方法。
研究結果顯示：案例的社會支持系統大部份來自初級團體，即由家人及親屬提供協助；獲得的社會支持系統滿意程度在經濟支持、個人日常生活衛生照顧服務、醫療照顧及情緒支持滿意度尚好，但訊息提供則較缺乏；在社會支持五個分量表與生活適應的相關分析，發現情緒支持呈正相關，顯示情緒支持會影響案例之生活適應；案例的生活適應部份在自我照顧能力、人際關係適應、情緒適應呈現中及中上程度，但在工作適應及生活安排則屬中下程度；研究結果發現教育程度，工作、鑑定結論等變項會影響生活適應，但本研究並未驗證高社會支持有高生活適應，這有待更進一步探討。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the social support system and living adaptation of forensic clients, as well as their related factors. Using purposive sampling , the study group is comprised of 97 the forensic clients from a psychiatric teaching hospital in southern Taiwan. The research tools include Demographic, Social Support Scale and Life Adjustment Scale. The data is analyzed by factor analysis, independent-samples t-test, one-way ANOVA, and pearson correlation.
The results include: Most of the social support system is from clients'''' initial group. That means the clients are almost assisted by their families or relatives. The level of satisfaction from gaining social support system is nice in financial support, personal daily life care service, medical care and emotional support. However, the level is poor in information providing. We find the emotional support are positively relative to both the five of social support system and the relative analysis of life adjustment. That means the emotional support will influence clients'''' life adjustment. The self- care ability, the adjustment of interpersonal relation, and emotional adjustment are equal or above the level. However, the occupational adjustment and living arrangement are under the level. We find that the factors of personal education, occupation, forensic conclusion will influence life adjustment. Somehow, we do not prove that the high social support will have higher life adjustment. This hypothesis should be detected in the future.
