This study is to investigate the impact of the instructions of cooperative learning skills on primary students in computer supported cooperative learning. The instructions were transferred into software components to work with a cooperative learning system. This study implemented a pretest-posttest equivalent groups design to evaluate the effects of such software components on students. Sixty primary students attended this evaluation study. It was found that such software components would be potentially effective for student to develop or exercise appropriate cooperative skills.
