台中市母親母職角色信念與教養方式之相關研究

摘 要
本研究之主要目的在瞭解母職角色信念與教養方式之內涵，並探討母職角色信念與教養方式之相關，進而分析不同背景變項母親之「母職角色信念」與「教養方式」之間的差異關係。本研究採問卷調查法，以台中市高中職以下學生之母親為施測之母群體。施測方式採隨機抽樣，調查研究部分，則發展「母職角色信念及教養方式」量表，作為本研究調查工具，並以不同年齡層、家庭型態、職業類別、教育程度及子女數之母親為調查對象，調查結果可分析之有效問卷為886份。本研究所獲得資料以次數分配、單因子多變量分析與典型相關分析法進行統計分析。
本研究的主要發現摘要如下：
ㄧ、「母職角色信念」會因不同年齡層、家庭型態、教育程度及子女數而有顯著差異，尤其在「服從觀」、「嚴教觀」、「自我犧牲觀」部分差異最多。其中「31-40 歲」母親最認同「服從觀」。「隔代教養家庭」最認同「嚴教觀」，而「單親家庭」母親則在「自我犧牲觀」部分最為顯著。不同「教育程度」母親在「母職角色信念」上有非常不同的認知，且隨著受教程度的提升，母親們在「母職角色信念」上便愈趨非傳統；反之，受教程度愈低的母親們，在「母職角色信念」上便愈趨傳統。家庭中子女數多寡與母親教養信念亦有密切關係；子女數愈多的母親，在信念上愈傾向「服從觀」及「自我犧牲觀」。同時，意謂著子女數的增多，會增加母職角色的負荷，使母親對孩子各方面的行為要求服從，並且在自我認知上有較強的「自我犧牲」感。
二、「母親教養方式」則因不同年齡層、教育程度、子女數而有顯著差異；其中顯示愈年輕的母親對孩子的行為規範及訓練愈重視；受教程度愈高之母親在自我情緒的調適上愈好；子女數少的母親皆比子女數多的母親更容易做到自我情緒的調適。
三、「母職角色信念」與「母親教養方式」之典型相關分析中得知：母職角色信念與母親教養方式之間呈現具體相關。顯示現代信念愈強之母親對孩子的行為愈崇尚自主；愈認同追求自我之母親在自我調節上愈容易情緒化；愈認同服從聽話之母親愈注重孩子的責任感訓練。然而母職角色信念雖然與母親教養方式呈現具體相關，但是解釋量卻有偏低的現象，僅佔總變異量的22.25％，此現象似乎再次驗證了人性中「說一套、做ㄧ套」的隱形性格，並且意謂著許多人「真正相信的信念」，可能與他「認為自己相信的信念」大相逕庭。
最後研究者根據上述研究結論，提出研究建議以供現代母親們及未來研究之參考。我們該如何從本土化的角度去探究中國母親的母職角色信念？中國傳統文化是否依然在現代母親的身上繼續傳承著？研究者已然從現代母親的「母職角色信念」及「教養方式」上略見一二。

Abstract
The main purpose of this research is to understand the content of motherhood beliefs and the way of rearing, and to analysis the different correlation about them. This research method adopted the investigation of questionnaire, and interviewed the student’s mother under the high school of Taichung by the simple random sampling, '''' motherhood beliefs and rearing'''' scale as this research investigating tool, mother that selected contained different age levels, family types, job classifications, educational degrees and the number of children. The effective questionnaires are 886. These research statistical approaches are 1-way MANOVA, Canonical Correlation Analysis.
The main discovery summaries of this research are as followings:
First, motherhood beliefs will be different as result of age levels, family types, educational degrees and the numbers of children. Differences are especially apparent in ‘views of obeying’, ‘views of teaching ‘and ''''views of self-sacrifice''''. There is very different cognition on motherhood beliefs whose educational degrees are different, the higher educational degree she is, the more non-traditional she becomes. The numbers of children are also close with the way of rearing. The more child she has, the more '''' view of obeying'''' and ''''view of self-sacrifice '''' she is. With increasing children, the mother’s load will be heavy that has better '''' self-sacrifice '''' sense in oneself cognitive.
Second, the ways of rearing show different upon age levels, educational degrees and the numbers of children. The younger mothers pay more attention to the child''''s behavioural norm and training than the old. The higher educational degree and less children are easy to accomplish self- adjusting rightly.
Third, the mother believes appear with the rearing relevantly. Shows that mother whose traditional beliefs is strong pays attention to the child’s
Behavioural norm; Although the way of rearing present is correlated with motherhood beliefs, the explain load, variation is about 22.25%, is still low,.
This proved human personality of ''''Say one thing, do it another.''''
The researcher offers the suggestions of studying about modern mother’s character and references studied in the future. How should we go to probe into Chinese motherhood in terms of localization? Does China''''s traditional culture still continue passing on the modern mother''''s body? It has already showed some signs from this study about motherhood beliefs and rearing.
