在概念設計階段,設計師必須將使用者的需求轉化成為設計的概念與想法,在這個過程中,因為面對的初步問題可能是複雜而難以立即解決的,所以在系統性的設計方法中提到面對這種問題的策略是將其分解成為幾個較小而簡單的次問題,然後藉由次問題的角度再去思索可能的解答。基於產品概念,設計師往往將設計問題轉換成產品所能達成的功能來作思考,所以在一般的設計程序中有建立功能結構及功能分解的想法被提出,所以,為了找尋設計上的解答,設計師在設計過程中作功能分解。為了能充分瞭解設計的本質及其源由,而有了設計表示法的研究,這個議題包括了設計物件表示法(Design Object Representation)及設計程序的表示法(Design Process Representation),本研究針對概念設計階段輸入與輸出的資訊,對問題分解提出一種設計上的物件與程序的表示法。本研究對牽涉到的設計物件 「功能」、「原則性解法」以功能分解的角度作定義,對牽涉到設計程序「功能分解過程」則以撰寫的規則來規範之,希望藉由此知識建立想法的提出來使設計更明箱化並輔助設計師作好功能的規劃與解答找尋的工作。
In the conceptual design phrase, designers must transfer users'' requirements to some viewpoints and concepts of themselves. In this process, because the primary problems encountered may be very complex and cant not be solved immediately. So, some systematic design methods tell us to decompose the big problem into several small problems. And then figure out possible solutions through them.In product concepts, designers usually think by the functions of the product as the regards of design problems. So, some researchers mentioned about some ways to establish function structure and decompose functions. In other words, to find out design solutions, designers have their own ways decompose functions in design process.Design representation research occurred in order to understand the nature and origin of design fully. This thesis includes design object representation and design process representation, and this article aimed at the input and output information of conceptual design phrase and introduced a design representation toward problem decomposition.Functions and solution principles are defined by functional decomposition in this research. And Some rules are created to guide the design''s function decompose process. By this knowledge infrastructure, we hope to clarify the black box of the design activity and assist designers to configure functions and search solutions.
