本研究主要是合成Mono(Di)-Methine與Aza-Methine Quinoline雜環衍生物。其合成方面共分為四部分。以烷基碘[Ethyl(Amyl)Iodide]將口奎口林衍生物[2(4)-Methyl Quinoline)烷基化,可得1-取代基-2(4)-甲基-口奎口林[1-Substituted-2(4)-Methyl-Quinoline Iodide)中間體,進而合成一系列之Mono(Di)-Methine 與Aza-Methine Quinoline雜環衍生物。
將烷基化之口奎口林衍生物和(1)對苯二甲醛(Terephthalaldehyde)進行縮合反應,而得一系列Di-Methine Quinoline(C=C)衍生物,呈現紫色─紫藍色之色相。(2)和數種含有Ketone(C=0)結構之雜環化合物進行縮合反應,而得一系列之Mono(Di)-Methine Quinoline(C=C)衍生物,呈現紫紅色─紫藍色之色相。(3)與不同取代基之亞硝基苯胺(nitrosoaniline)之衍生物進行縮合反應,而得一系列之Aza-Methine Quinoline(C=N)衍生物,呈現紫藍色─藍色之色相。(4)與不同取代基之芳香族醛類進行縮合反應,而得一系列Mono-Methine Quinoline(C=C)衍生物,呈現紫紅色─紫藍色之色相。
以上所合成之染料,均經IR、W、Mass、1H-NMR、EA,鑑定其化學結構。由於含有Mono(Di)-Methine(C=C), Aza-methine(C=N)等不同鍵結種類,而各具不同的色相,將此各種不同結構之Quinoline染料對聚丙烯月青纖維織物(PAN)進行染色,堅牢度的測試,並配合電腦配色系統(ACS),來進行色彩的測試及評估。聚丙烯月青纖維染色布(PAN)的色相屬於紫紅色─藍色色相,有不錯之K/S值,且在堅牢度表現上,亦有不俗的效果。

In this study, Synthesis and application of Mono(Di)-methine quinoline heterocyclic derivatives. Quinoline was reacted with ethyl(amyl) iodide to give 1-substituted-2(4)-methyl quinoline, resulted in producing a series of Mono(Di)-methine and Aza- methine quinoline heterocyclic derivatives.
In part one, quinoline was condensed with terephthalaldehyde to give a series of Di-methine quinoline derivatives, which leads to a series of violet to purplish blue coloured.
In part two, quinoline was condensed with heterocyclic compounds of keton structure to give a series of Mono(Di)-methine quinoline derivatives, which leads to a series of reddish purple to purplish blue coloured.
In part three, quinoline was condensed with nitrosoaniline derivatives to give a series of Aza-methine quinoline derivatives, which leads to a series of purplish blue to blue coloured.
In part four, quinoline was condensed with aromatic aldehyde to give a series of Mono-methine quinoline derivatives, which leads to a series of purplish red to purplish blue coloured.
The identification of the structure of the those heterocyclic compounds were confirmed by IR, Mass, UV, H-NMR, EA spectra analysis. These quinoline dyes are suitable for dyeing of PAN fabrics, to proceed tested and appraised of the hues to use (A.C.S.), ranging from reddish purple to blue.
