The franchising system has received a great deal of attention in marketing channel research. Most of the researches are concerned with the channel leadership, power and conflict. Recently, some literature discussed the cooperated relationship between channel members. Therefore, the purpose of this thesis is discussing the effect of trust in the performance of franchising chain store The conclusion of the thesis shows below: 1. the franchiser''s reputation and expertise ability is positively related to the performance of the franchising chain store; 2. the franchiser''s reputation and expertise ability is positively related to franchisee''s trust in franchiser; 3. franchisee''s trust in franchiser is positively related to the performance of the franchising chain store;4. franchisee''s trust in franchiser can increase the effect of the franchiser''s reputation and expertise ability in the performance of the franchising chain store.
