本研究以歷史研究法與文獻分析法，輔以實地參觀考察等方法，旨在探討大陸地區成人
高等教育之整體發展情況。從比較的觀點，自歷史背景分析其入學、修業、畢業；行政
體系與組織管理；課程；教師與行政人員；辦學條件；以及經費等制度。並引介其終生
教育、中學後教育等改革趨勢，據以對台灣地區成人教育制度提出反省與建議。

The research of this thesis is to study adult higher educationin in
the Mainland China by historical analysis, document analysis, andvisiting
several colleges. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the
situation and trend of its development. By reviewing its history and
background, this study analyzes the systems of its enrollment & graduation,
administrative organization, curriculum, staff, building, and finace by
comparative point. Finally, thi s study tries to introduce its new trend
of post-secondary education and lifel ong education, as well as gives an
advice to the adult education in Taiwan.
