本論文研究 IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) 所制定的網
路層(Network layer)協定─Mobile-IP─之實作。Mobile-IP 是以現有的
IP-協定為基礎﹐定出一新的網路層協定﹐使得 OSI Model 中更上層級的
協定（包括傳輸層及應用程式層）不須作任何更改的情況﹐整個系統在無
線區域網路的環境之下可正常地運作﹐如此便作到了軟體上的通透性(
Transparency)。

This thesis focuses on the implementation of Mobile-IP
whichis a modification of Internet Protocol. Mobile-IP is
designedfor network-layer protocol in mobile computing
environment. Thegoal is to allow transparent routing of IP data
packets to andfrom mobile hosts.
