山藥具有降血糖、降血脂、抗氧化及調節免疫等生物活性,所以山藥被認為有助於人類健康。本篇研究探討魚飼料中添加大汕二品山藥對雜交吳郭魚幼魚成長表現、抗氧化及免疫能力之影響。
實驗ㄧ在飼料中分別添加25%山藥果肉、4%和8%山藥果皮、4%和8%山藥果肉萃取物(50%乙醇萃取),共五個組別。魚體平均初重為1.30g的雜交吳郭魚幼魚於密閉式系統中飼養八週,每組三重複。結果顯示,添加4%及8%山藥果皮組能顯著增加肝臟與血漿的麩胱甘肽過氧化酶(glutathione peroxidase, GPx)活性顯著高於控制組(p < 0.05),且各項成長與免疫指標都與控制組沒有顯著差異。添加4%山藥果肉乙醇萃取物組亦能顯著提高肝臟與血漿GPx活性顯著高於控制組,肝體比顯著小於控制組(p < 0.05),免疫指標與控制組沒有顯著差異。添加8%山藥果肉乙醇萃取物組的末重、增重百分率、蛋白質利用率及肝體比皆顯著低於控制組,飼料轉換率顯著高於控制組,但肝臟GPx活性顯著高於控制組(p < 0.05),免疫指標則與控制組沒有顯著差異。添加25%山藥果肉組的末重、增重百分率及肝體比顯著低於控制組,但肝臟GPx活性顯著高於控制組(p < 0.05),免疫指標則與控制組沒有顯著差異。上述得知添加4%和8%山藥果皮以及4%山藥果肉乙醇萃取物組能顯著提高雜交吳郭魚幼魚GPx活性之效能且對成長及免疫指標皆無影響。飼料中可使用山藥果皮(廢棄物)以提升抗氧化效能,將進一步探討添加不同量的山藥果皮及山藥果皮50%乙醇萃取物對雜交吳郭魚之影響。
實驗二,將山藥果皮分成四種添加量,分別為5%、10%、15%和20%以及2.5%山藥果皮萃取物(50%乙醇萃取)。魚體平均初重為1.85g的雜交吳郭魚幼魚於密閉式系統中飼養八週,每組三重複。添加5%山藥果皮組的各項指標皆與控制組無顯著差異。添加10%山藥果皮組的肝體比顯著小於控制組(p < 0.05),血液分析及免疫能力與控制組無顯著差異。添加15%山藥果皮組能顯著增加血漿的替代補體活性,且肝體比和血比容是顯著小於控制組(p < 0.05)。添加20%山藥果皮組亦能顯著增加血漿的替代補體活性,且肝體比顯著小於控制組,但紅血球、血紅素及血比容皆顯著低於控制組(p < 0.05)。添加2.5%山藥果皮萃取物肝體比及血比容顯著小於控制組(p < 0.05),替代補體活性與控制組無顯著差異。由上述得知,餵食雜交吳郭魚幼魚10%及15%山藥果皮組八週可提高替代補體活性,進而提升免疫能力提升,且對魚類健康狀況也無影響。
