我國政府因感受到國土空間規劃發展，所要達成的總體目標「環境保育」與「永續發展」重要，於2010年即開始著手修正規劃及核定相關法案；但由於推行時間較為初期階段，因而相關屬性資料之建構及事務實際推行皆未臻完善，且缺乏適當的管理機制；此正為國內針對生態社區相關發展及推動管理下所面臨到的當前重要課題。
有鑑於此，本研究主要為建立符合生態社區生活品質及永續發展管理之構面，並將其導入生態社區的運作之中，以利生態社區永續經營及管理之運作。而本研究將以文獻回顧、案例分析、觀點建構與資料分析，進而將各工作收集得的資料研討分析，建構出生態社區永續管理建議構面，其構面分別包含資訊構面(社區居民互動及資訊網)、環境構面(自然環境與社區居民永續共生)、經濟構面(社區人文及資源特色經濟發展)及人文構面(社區教育互動及觀念培養)。並利用一實際的生態社區，根據其背景及現況管理，套用於本研究所提議的管理構面，另行提出相關課題及建議，讓管理單位、管理者及居民依據此生活品質要件創造出適合該地區居民生活之環境，並在維持生活品質的前提之下，發展社會、環境及經濟上的永續性。
而透過本研究使我們瞭解到，專家的研究成果與社區營造人員的實際經驗，有時會因為注重的層面不同而有所差異；因此在生態社區管理建構的同時，不僅需要考慮學者專業上的建議，更需要與實際居住於該地區的社區營造人員對於社區需求上的協調，兩者所給予社區的意見在溝通後，兩群體的共同決策則可視為最適用於該生態社區的永續營造管理方針。

The purpose of this study to establish the ecological quality of community life and the management dimensions of sustainable development, and import it into the operation of the ecological community, profit ecological communities sustainable operation and management of the operation. While this study will be the literature review, the case of such analysis, viewpoints constructed and owned data analysis, and then to the working collection have the information seminar analysis, constructed out of ecological communities sustainable management proposed dimensions, its groove surface, respectively, contain information structure surface (community residents Interactive information network) and environmental dimensions (the natural environment and community sustainable symbiosis), and economic dimensions (Community College of Humanities and resource features of economic development) and human dimensions (community education, interaction, and the concept of culture). And the use of an ecological community, according to their background and current status of management applied to the management aspects of this study proposed a separate related issues and recommendations, and management units, managers and residents to create based on this quality of life elements suitable for the regional living environment, and under the premise of maintaining the quality of life, the development of social, environmental and economic sustainability.
Through this research so we understand that the research results of experts with practical experience in community development staff, sometimes differ from the focus on the level of different; constructed in the management of ecological communities, not only need to consider scholars professional recommendations, more needs to actually reside in the communities of the region to create the advice given by the community coordination on the needs of the community, both in the communication in the two groups shared decision-making can be regarded as most suitable for the ecological community sustainability to create management approach.
