In other words, it was switched from adverbial modification to adnominal modification by the adnominal particle “no”. 3. In the case of the exchangeability between “TENO” adnominal form and normal adnominal form of verbs, it is thought that there is a nuance that adnominal part is more emphasized than modified noun. 4. This study is based on around 500 examples which consist of “TENO” adnominal form from Asahi sinnbun database and gathers the using quantity statistics of 6 usages modified by “TENO” form within these examples. The conclusion of above statistics for the meaning-usage of “TENO” form shows that <incidental condition> and <content> belonging to <attached relation> occupies around 60%. As a result, it seems that the closer the meaning between previous item and following item is, the bigger the possibility of forming the “TENO” type is. 5. According to the result of statistics analysis for a verb classification based on Kageyama’s research(1993), it is considered that intentional movements or behaviors, even its associated function, of human being are important factors in constructing the “TENO” adnominal form.
