本研究之目的為建構我國總體經濟計量季模型，進行我國總體經濟預測，並模擬進出口變動，預測對於總體經濟變數之影響效果。
模型之建構由行為方程式開始，在經濟理論的基礎下，設定所有行為方程式及定義式，以進行聯立方程式求解。並以模型靜態測驗及樣本內配適情況來檢驗模型配適度，靜態測驗的樣本期間為 1985 年第二季至 2009 年第四季，並預測 2010 年第一季至 2012 年第四季的國內經濟走勢。
由於 2009 年遭逢金融海嘯之原因，導致基期過低，所以 2010 年各季經濟成長率之預測約為 8 % 至 18 %，而 2011 年至 2012 年各季經濟成長率之預測約為 3 % 至 6 %，失業率則介於 5.39 % 至 5.76 % 之間；消費者物價指數自 2010年的 104.68 上升至 2012 年的 107.43；金融部門方面，存放款量、利率亦呈上升趨勢；新台幣兌美元之匯率則為 31.44 至 32.58 區間。大致來說，樣本內的配適大都良好，而樣本內估計之結果也都呈現平穩而未有大幅波動的情形。最後，情境分析分別模擬進出口變動，對於總體經濟變數之影響。

The purpose of this paper is to build a macro-econometric model of Taiwan economy, and use it to forecast future performance of economy.
We generate the prediction of the economy from the first quarter in 2010 to the fourth quarter in 2012. The prediction on the range of the GDP quarterly growth rate is between 8 % to 18 % in 2010, and 3 % to 6 % from the first quarter in 2011 to the fourth quarter in 2012, and the prediction on the unemployment rate is between 5.39 % and 5.76 % from the first quarter in 2010 to the fourth quarter in 2012. Moreover, we conduct the scenario analysis concerning the variation of export, import and oil price.
In general, the model’s predictions perform normally and without unexpected rising and falling.
