Due to the flow of the times, the stacked cultural form the human’s mutual assets, which are worth preserving and treasuring. Take "Cultural Heritage Preservation Law," legislated in 1982, for example, the actual practice aforementioned the above concept is to categorize the assets with value of history, culture, art and science.It not only reactivated people’s memories and experience for traditional art and, thereby provide materials presented modern life and beauty of applying designs. Traditional motifs combined with the art of living is a feature of auspicious patterns, because of its intriguing appearance and profound meaning, this study intends to create three stages: first, the beginning, showing its creative background, motivation and purposes; second, putting Auspicious Pattern of Plants, the application and change of the pattern constitute, Eastern and Western genres, home textiles and other related documents into order; third, implement creative design, using Lin, Rong-Tai’s “Cultural Creativity Added Design Value," proposed in 2005, as concept, sublimation printing as skill, and wallpaper group as type, to introduce patterms into cultural and creative goods and publish results. This creation research is divided into three series according to auspicious plants classification:"Flower Pattern", "Herbaceous Plant Pattern," "Fruit Pattern," with a total of fourteen designs. To inherit auspicious culture, this study reinterpret the moral connotation of traditional culture through new designs, and therefore apply auspicious pattern, wallpaper group constitutes into curtain valance, bedding and other cloth-related products, leading humanistic value that auspicious pattern contains, present in living art.
