摘要
面對託運人、受貨人、貨運承攬業、運送人或其受僱人要求，船務代理如何因應及處理，以持續未來商業交易，為所有海運從業人員責任與義務。實務上，不易達到。
基於貨運承攬業、運送人與船務代理實務，及其業務營運策略與重心之差異。本論文論述定期貨櫃航線台灣船務代理進出口業務，包括日常承攬、運務、載貨證券、財務與會計之實務，由於定期貨櫃航線台灣船務代理實務之專述文獻相當有限，本論文以實務經驗及紀錄為主軸，首先分析船務代理有關承攬、客服、會計、財務、運務、文件與人事之業務性質，並將船務代理所遭遇之實務問題，加以分析、探討及建議。依據前述，最後對台灣未來船務代理之組織規劃與營運策略，提出展望，期盼對台灣海運業有實質助益。

ABSTRACT
While facing the requests of shippers, consignees, forwarders and carriers, a shipping agent must smoothly arrange and handle those matters of securing more business in the future. It is the responsibility for all staff in a shipping agent, although it is a difficult task, to achieve that goal.
Based on shipping practice in freight forwarding, ocean transportation and shipping agency, this thesis focuses on business relating to those daily works of shipping agency, those affairs of inbound and outbound shipment as well as container liner. It also includes sales, operation, bill of lading issuance, finance and accounting in daily practice.
In consideration that there are not many academic papers concerning Taiwan’s shipping agents in container liner business, this thesise focuses on shipping practices and case study. At first, it analyzes the nature of shipping agency including those routinue operation of sales, customer service, accounting, finance, documental and personnel affairs. Secondly it analyzes, discusses and recommends proposal. Based on aforementioned analyses, this thesis proposes the plan of organization and strategy of business for Taiwan’s shipping agents. It aims to provide useful reference to Taiwan shipping industry.
