This research was about the migration of the Bunun’s Taki banuaz,the research area was set in the Zhuoxi Village,the research methods were document analysis and indepth interview.Before the Jpanese colonization era,the Bunun migrated for hunting and the lough,the Taki banuaz lived first in the Asang banuan of Nantou,then the population were growing too fast to the living space became narrow,the population problem also caused the lake of food,so the Taki banuaz migrated eastward for the living space and food,and they arrived the lakulaku stream.So far,these processes were belong to the natural migration,the research result as following：
The Zhuoxi Village’s Taki banuaz clans lived in the lakulaku stream originally,then in the Jpanese colonization era,the Jpanese carried out the“aborigine’s collective movement”in order to the aborigine’s education.The collective movement of the Zhuoxi Village’s Taki banuaz were carried out in 1933-1934,when they arrived the Zhuoxi Village,they built five tribes,the tribes were Panita, Takisha, Masisan, Sinkan, Tenhapa,then it’s not a long time that the flood washed away Panita,so the Japanese planned for a new residence in the Zhuoxi Township hall area,and the Masisan, Sinkan, Takisha’s residents were migrated to the new Panita.Several years later,the flood washed away Panita again,so the Japanese migrated the residents to the Zhuoxi upward tribe,still called it Panita,another people were migrated to the Sinkan.From the above,the Taki banuaz had three times migration since they arrived the Zhuoxi Village,and the migration had many sociocultural influences to the Taki banuaz.
In the Republic of China era,the mountain policy were implemented by the government,and it produced a lot of changes to the indigenous tribes,the implementation of the”indigenous reserve land”policy is the main cause of the inhabitant’s migration,because the division of the reserve land,the Zhuoxi Village’s residents felt inadequate to the farming and hunting space,so some people migrated to the Sitavulaku (the Zhuoxi downward tribe) from the Batakan (the Zhuoxi upward tribe),another few people migrated to the neighborhood of the Zhuoxi Elementary School,and the tribe was called the “school tribe”,we superadd the Sinkan originally,so far,the Zhuoxi Village had four tribes,the migration of the Zhuoxi Village’s Taki banuaz had come to an end.
