為了滿足通訊網路上大量並高速地傳送資料的需求，一種利用光波中各個
不同的波長來並行傳送不同資料的技術，簡稱 WDM(Wavelength
Division Multiplexing)，正逐漸被發展且應用來架構高速的光纖網路。
在星狀單一跳躍式 (Single-Hop) WDM 網路上，己有多介質存取控制通訊
協定 (MAC Protocol) 被提出，在本論文中，我們所提出的是一個在星狀
單一跳躍式 WDM網路上具有多重優先權的無衝突通訊協定，各個使用者可
藉由控制頻道 (Control Channel) 提出要求，經過排程 ( Schedule) 之
後，得到適當的頻寬來傳送資料，而避免了送收的衝突。此外，基於此通
訊協定，我們提出了兩個優先權的設計方法，來管理各個不同優先權的要
求所應分配到的頻寬。在優先權設計方法 Ａ 中，我們所要達到的目標，
是希望除非沒有任何該優先權的要求被提出，否則屬於該優先權的所有要
求可被保証分配到一定的頻寬。而在優先權設計方法 Ｂ 中，則著重每個
網路節點 (Network Node) 的公平性。除了希望對同一優先權的要求，各
網路節點被平均分配到一樣的頻寬之外，針對同一個結點中不同優先權的
要求，除非沒有被提出，否則均成一固定的比率被配置頻寬。根據我們所
提出的通訊協定及優先權設計方法，公平性的問題得到解決，而頻寬的利
用率仍可維持在甚高的基準。

Wavelength division multiaccess (WDMA), which utilizes the vast
bandwidth of the optical fiber, offers a newly attractive way
to construct high- speed communication networks. In a single-
hop WDM network system with passive star, many MAC protocols
have been proposed. In this thesis, we propose a conflict free
MAC protocol with multiple priority classes for single-hop WDM
network based on passive star topology. Furthermore, two
different priority schemes are also proposed to share the
available bandwidth. Based on our protocols, channel
utilization is close to 1 and the unfairness problem will be
solved.
