本論文之主要架構為設計並實現以泛歐數位式行動電話系統 (GSM) 來建構一高應用性之自動回報系統 (ADS) ,藉由本研究所規劃之自動回報系統監控中心可有效並輕易的經由通訊系統得知使用者之定位訊號,並顯示在監控中心之地理資訊系統中。隨著GPRS技術的成熟,本研究所規劃之系統亦獲得資料傳輸速度的提升以及得以整合網際網路之資源。
藉由GPS衛星定位系統、數位式行動通訊系統以及網際網路的整合,可使的本研究所規劃之自動回報系統具有高度的可攜帶性以及廣大的涵蓋範圍等優點。本系統可經由適當的修改來滿足各種不同的需求及因應各種不同的應用。
This thesis presents the design and implementation of an Automatic Dependent Surveillance system using Global System for Mobile communication (ADS-GSM). By using the ADS-GSM, the Surveillance Center can get the Users’ position data via the communication subsystem of ADS-GSM, and can display the positioning data in the geodetic information system (GIS) to enhance the surveillance capability and reduce complexity. Now the General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), a new GSM service, has been proposed to improve the GSM communication in data link capability as well as Internet operationability.
By integrating the Global Positioning System (GPS), GSM and GPRS with Internet, we can get a high mobility and wide range coverage for Automatic Dependent Surveillance. System modifications can be made for various applications both in livelihood and aviation system.
System architecture for the proposed idea using GSM or GPRS in ADS operation is discussed. Some fundamental tests have been carried out with functional verifications. The ADS-GSM can have many varieties of applications in the next decade.
