EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber development improved rapidly in recent years, applied widespread in the industry. Because different applications are not similar, therefore there are different ingredient allocations. This research increases the third ingredient of EPDM comparatively (ENB), strengthening its high polymerization degree, then testing whether or not EPDM rubber has fine machine capability and tolerance. The results show, EPDM rubber’s exterior machine capability (structure degree of resistance) will compare with the third ingredient’s strength, and therefore has great processing characteristic. Soaked in the test solvent, though EPDM rubber has the ability to absorb and dissolve the effects, but the effects size will affect the comparison with the third ingredient’s strength, and will have great tolerance. In TGA (thermo gravimetric analyzer) analysis it is shown that, EPDM rubber along with the increase in the third ingredient, will have greater heat resistance performance. The improved material, in actual testing has good performance in terms of tolerance, and lengthened the material’s service life, resolving the defects noted previously in the coating process that cause losses in the product’s efficiency.
