Abstract Supplier selection is almost the most critical decision making to modern enterprise. Quality of suppliers can directly influence merit and public image of an enterprise. Generally, enterprise selects collaborative suppliers according to their internal audit. Typical audit items include quality, cost, delivery and development, while habit is usually neglected. In an enterprise, requests from different departments normally cannot be well aligned. For instances, purchasing department aim on delivery and cost, while R&D department concern more on capacity of supplier. Nevertheless, habit is always ignored among all of these requests. In this thesis, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is utilized to explore supplier selection process. From different aspects, Quality, Cost , Delivery, Development and Habit, how suppliers are selected and how qualified suppliers can be pinpointed are fully discussed. With utilization of AHP, engineers of Corporation S are taken as research subjects. By studying , it is discovered that engineers place the highest importance in quality management, sequentially followed by development capability, cost/delivery, and habit. The most significant secondary factor is robustness of quality. Through research findings, related strategy and recommendations of supplier selection are proposed for readers’ reference.
