隨著二十一世紀來臨及網際網路風行,企業面臨資訊科技(IT)及管理行銷之挑戰,不得不尋求Internet/Intranet/Extranet的解決方案,資訊管理人員因此面臨了許多的工作挑戰。因為資訊管理人員必須管理暨維護企業中舊有資訊系統,但同時必須進一步瞭解目前新的軟體技術趨勢對於企業的重要性和影響,及如何引進企業必要的資訊技術和架構,以整合新、舊系統。
隨著更多具有彈性、開放性的作業系統跟程式語言技術逐漸形成,大部份的資訊部門主管仍多持保留態度,希望維持舊傳統資訊系統穩定運作,又希望能順應時勢潮流開發新系統。舊資訊系統軟體之穩定度跟成熟度,卻往往令資訊部門主管視重寫舊有程式碼為畏途,因此如何在新、舊系統中做到系統間資料互通的功能,成為不可忽視的議題。
本論文主旨乃希望將已開發完成之傳統資訊系統轉為Web based應用模式,透過具有資料交換能力的XML技術來探討如何與傳統檔案做整合,以減低整合新舊系統時產生的風險。
As the Internet technology prevails, the challenge to information technology practitioners becomes greater than ever before. Most MIS departments still must maintain the legacy application systems as well as develop new applications in internet/intranet/extranet platform. So they must search for solutions to integrate legacy systems with the Internet environment under limited manpower and cost。
Although Internet technology matures, most managers at MIS department still hope to hold their legacy systems in the old but stable environment. Therefore, to decrease the risk for integration, one of the solutions is to exchange the data from the legacy system to these new Internet systems. This thesis employs the knowledge of data reverse engineering techniques and XML technology to develop a tool for integrating the legacy system and WWW, thereby decreasing the risk in system integration。
