Researches on the relationships of knowledge management type, knowledge management infrastructure and organizational innovation are rare. This comparative empirical research explores the relationships of knowledge management type, knowledge management infrastructure and organizational innovation among the telecommunication, opto-electronic and textile industries.
Research results show that:
(1)Knowledge management infrastructure affects organization innovation more than knowledge management type in three industries respectively.
(2)Knowledge management type and knowledge management infrastructure are significantly different among three industries in the same position level.
(3)Organization culture affects organization innovation in the three industries respectively.
(4)Administrative innovation affects knowledge management in the three industries respectively.
(5)Knowledge management type, knowledge management infrastructure and organization innovation are significantly correlated in three industries respectively.
(6)In demographical and corporate variables, knowledge management and organization innovation are significantly different in three industry.
