員工的創新行為是組織提升競爭力的關鍵,主動積極的員工會透過從事主動積極行為達到改善環境的目的。然而近來有研究指出主動積極的員工不必然會從事主動積極行為,特別是個人創新行為。本研究以特質活化理論的觀點,檢驗工作情境中工作特性與主管領導風格是否能夠調節主動積極性格與個人創新行為的直接關聯性。
本研究採用自陳式問卷收集資料,以民營企業在職者為研究對象,共回收139份有效問卷。研究結果顯示員工的主動積極性格不必然可以預測個人創新行為,工作特性中的工作完整性與主管的轉換型領導風格能夠正向調節主動積極性格與個人創新行為的直接關聯性。
Innovation is the key organizations to enhance their competitiveness, proactive employees can improve the environment through engaging in proactive behavior. However, current research indicates that proactive employees do not necessarily engage in proactive behavior, in particular, individual innovative behavior. According to trait activation theory, this study examined the result of job characteristics and leadership style in adjusting the direct relevance of proactive personality and individual innovation.
Self-reported survey technique is used in the study and 139 valid samples were collected from current employees in private companies. Results indicated that proactive employees can not necessarily predict individual innovation, job identity and transformational leadership style is positively regulating the direct relevance of proactive personality and individual innovation.
