This paper tries to capture the challenges and opportunities facing Motech Industries through the analysis of the solar photovoltaic (PV) industry, its drivers and the strategic implications that they carry for the firm.
Therefore, the following work will explore the multidimensional knowledge and perspectives necessary to assess the economic potential of solar photovoltaic, as well as analyze all the issues related to the solar PV industry performance as a whole and of the Taiwanese solar photovoltaic industry in particular. Motech Solar performance in the last few years will serve us as a showcase of all of those issues.
Finally, we recommend a set of actions that we think appropriate for the firm to overcome those challenges.
