水黃皮 (pongamia pinnata (Linn.) Pierre ex Merr,),為豆科,水黃皮屬半落葉小喬木,具有治療胃潰瘍、抗發炎、與解熱等藥理活性。
本研究以抗氧化活性導向進行水黃皮果莢部之活性成分研究,並經由管柱層析得到六個成分。其中五個屬於黃酮類化合物,分別為: [2",3":7,8]furanoflavone,3’4’-methylenedioxy[2”,3”:7,8]furano- flavone,3-methoxyfurano[2”,3”:7,8]flavone,5-methoxyfurano- [2",3":7,6]flavone,3-methoxy-3’,4’-methylenedioxy[2”,3”:7,8]- furanoflavone及一個三萜類化合物:friedelin。均經由光譜分析與標準品比對確定其結構。

Pongamia pinnata Linn. Pierre ex Merr (Leguminosae) is a large deciduous tree widely distributed in the subtropical regions. This plant was introduced as an ornamental plant and along the roadsides in Taiwan. It was used for treating ulcers, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic in folk medicine.
In this study, the active constituents of pongamia pinnata fruit-pod were isolated by the process of antioxidant activity-guided fractionation and column chromatography. These compound were namely, [2",3":7,8]-
furanoflavone, 3’,4’-methylenedioxy[2”,3”:7,8]furanoflavone, 3-methoxyfurano[2”,3”:7,8]flavone, 5-methoxyfurano[2",3":7,6]flavone,
3-methoxy-3’,4’-methylenedioxy[2”,3”:7,8]-furanoflavone and friedelin,
respectively. These structures were elucidated by the spectroscopic
methods and its activity was also achieved.
