摘要
本研究以國中生為對象，根據文獻探討、針對國中生手機使用情形及產生的正負面影響進行問卷調查並佐以深度訪談，進行相關主題的探索調查，問卷調查的對象是新竹市一至三年級國中生，以分層隨機的方式進行調查，訪談的對象為家長及教育人員，訪談的目的，是希望瞭解問卷調查資料有無偏頗，交互印證。本研究以描述性統計、單因子變異數分析進行統計分析。有以下五點發現：
1. 對於使用手機後所產生的負面影響，學生與成人認知不同，負面影響並非不存在，但需經時間證實。
2. 有八成的國中生帶手機上學，使用的手機類型以多功能手機最多，其次是智慧型手機、一般型手機最少。
3. 使用的手機類型及每月手機費用是影響國中生人際、身心及學業發展最主要的因素。
4. 使用的手機類型及每月手機費與國中生是否遵守手機使用規範有顯著差異。
5. 對於學生在校使用手機，學校端需以管理代替禁止，適度規範，是家長、老師及學生共同的期待。
研究結果希望提供教育行政單位、老師及家長更清楚認知學生在使用手機所發生的現象及受到的影響，以便能建立適宜的使用規範，並減少使用者的抗拒順利進行，讓親師合作更順暢，製造雙贏。

Abstract
Based on literature review, this study is to investigate the usage of cell phones by junior high school students as well as the positive and negative effects caused by their use. Questionnaire and In-depth Interview are two methods for this study to collect the relative information. A questionnaire-based survey was randomly undertaken among junior high school students from Grade 1 to Grade 3 through the multi-layer sampling approach. Parents and educational staff are the main target-candidates of the deeply interview. In this way, we can double-check if the collected data stands in the right position. The collected data was analyzed by descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA. There are five findings.
Finding I, the negative influences of usage of cell phones have been recognized different between the students and the adults. There should be negative influences, but need more time for approval
Finding II, 80% junior high school students carry cell phones to school. Most take multi-function cell phones as the main type, then smart phones, and just few use basic phones.
Finding III, the cell phone types and weekly pay rates are the main factors to effect students’ human relationship, and physical and mental developments.
Finding IV, the cell phone types and weekly pay rates will turn out the significant difference caused whether the students follow the cell phone usage regulations.
Finding V, for cell phone usage at school, managing instead of banning and proper regulations are what parents, teachers and students expect for.
In conclusion, this study can provide more information to help educational unit, teachers and parents realize what happen and what influence will be when the students use the cell phones. The proper usage regulations will be built accordingly and reduce the fight-back from the users. The teachers and students can work along and create the win-win at the end.
