With strategic advantage, Taiwan stands over the centeral position of The Pacific Ocean, but also with sophisticated processing/subcontracting and manufacturing capabilities, thus “export business” is the key momentum of Taiwan's economic. The study would take the advantage for the Taiwan's traditional industry, take example with water hardware industry, in considering the export model, for decision-making of site selection analysis. The study takes the document collection, data integration, and field experts opinion to screen the relevant conditions for the site selection of the water hardware facilities. There are totally come out with twenty elements under the five key dimentions that is, "cost", "human resources", "environment", "processing/subcontracting", and "environmental protection". And then through the analysis of the analytic hierarchy process(AHP), based on questionnaire survey, targeted on the field experts and owners in central Taiwan. After analyzing, and summarizing, to develop the site selection decision under different export models. The results of the study show two models. The model one: a 100% made in Taiwan for export, the water hardware manufacturers prefer Lukang(Dingfanpo) as the first choice of facility locations, Changbin Industrial Zone as the second choice, and Quanxing Industrial Zone takes as the third choice. The model two: incomplete made in Taiwan for export, the water hardware manufacturers still prefer Lukang as the priority of facility locations, following choice by the export processing zone (Taichung Port) , and then free trade harbor zone (Taichung Port) as the third choice. Lukang was highlighted on the advantage of spares suppliers surrounding, but all the other sites take longer distances.
