Living reveals existence, however, I would like to pursue and understand the purpose of existence. To understand existence, the source from which existence manifests itself must be explored. Human feels existence because of behavior, which originates from desire that lurks in the heart of human. Existence and desire are actually two sides of one coin, and are the cause and effect of each other. Although a person exists continuously, existence can be felt only after the occurrence of behavior, which is driven by desire. Thus, existence and desire happen upon each other. My creations are centered around the pursuit of the main purpose of my own existence, so it is practical to perceive the flow of desire behind behavior: the desires hidden behind various behaviors are observed from my feelings for the people around and for the society, the possible states of the desires are extracted, then the creations are made with clay of "motherhood", and the source of my own existence is traced; subsequently, the creations are made with clay of “practicality”, with concepts included therein, as the creations are operated and used by people, the form of desire is generated; finally, the creations are made with clay of "memory" to impart the dynamic of desire to the works, thereby establishing the relationship of cause and effect among the existence of the past, present, and future. Poetry is as obscure and hidden as desire is. I specifically use poetry as legends, which can aptly describe the concepts of the works. Poetry is like a lock, to interpret it requires pondering, and readers will be directed to different ways of interpretation by different life experiences. This also applies to the behaviors resulted from desire. For different people, the very same desire will cause different behavioral states. Therefore, to interpret the poetry as the legends is like to interpret the possible forms of desire from a personal perspective. By stepping into the private gap of self-pondering, I would like to, more deeply, experience the philosophy which belongs to my own existence.
