在社群媒體發達的現今，蒐集並分析媒體中的用戶資料是許多企業常見的策略；也因此，如何廣泛且精確蒐集資料成了各大企業的研究課題。
　有鑑於在隱私權議題日漸被使用者所看重的環境下，許多社群網站中的用戶資料皆被隱藏，只有顯示使用者姓名，能獲取的資訊有限，故本研究在接續　蕭清彥先生的"A Comparative Framework for Person Age Estimation Using only Taiwanese Name Data"研究下，利用隱藏在姓名背後的諸如用字的時代背景、算命規則、名字意義等特徵來估算該使用者的性別與年齡。
　本篇研究基於蕭清彥先生的研究成果，再加入了生肖相關的特徵來增進演算法的準確度，降低推估年齡時的誤差。

In this generation, many companies collect and analyze user data to make marketing plans. However, due to the user privacy policy, there is often insufficient data for companies to collect from websites or elsewhere. Only a user's name is easily collected. In Taiwan, A person's name can carry a lot of information, such as the characteristics of one’s generation, and expectations from their parents. This research will add features regarding the Chinese Zodiac to reduce the prediction error based on the age estimation model of Mr. Hsiao's research.
