在這篇論文中提出了一個應用於MP3檔案上資訊隱藏的方法。資料將會在數位音訊壓縮成為 MP3 時，嵌入經過壓縮的 MP3 檔案中。我們提出的方式是修改MP3中量化過程的部份來嵌入秘密資訊，他的代價是犧牲些許的失真性來嵌入資料，但這樣些微的失真性並不會造成聽覺上明顯的異常，並且也不容易由隱藏分析技術(Steganalysis)所發現。

We present a steganographic method for MP3 encoding. It embeds the secret data into MP3 files during the digital audio compression phase. Our proposed method modifies the quantization process in order to hide secret information. Our method introduces very little distortion that is undistinguishable in auditory sense and hard to be detected by steganalysis.
