本試驗採隨機、雙盲、交叉之安慰劑對照設計,試驗用之洛神花複合飲品﹝漢補飲品SF-R產品﹞是由佳格食品股份有限公司所提供。受試者分為兩批,每天飲用洛神花飲品或安慰劑飲品各2瓶(100mL/瓶;早、晚各一瓶),平均飲用遵從率為75.42%。全程參與試驗13個月之受試者共39位(女性為25位,男性為14位),年齡皆為40歲以上(含65歲以上年長者)。受試者隨機分為兩批,一批連續飲用洛神花飲品六個月,停止一個月(wash-out)後,再連續六個月飲用對照之安慰劑。而同時間另外一批則先連續飲用安慰劑六個月,停止一個月(wash-out)後,再連續飲用六個月洛神花飲品。試驗期第0、3、6、7、10、13個月進行血液生化分析,試驗第0、6、7、13個月進行皮膚生理檢測。
結果顯示,每人每天持續飲用洛神花飲品6個月後,可以顯著降低收縮壓及舒張壓、增加受試者體內血漿總抗氧化能力及麩胱甘肽含量、降低受試者血漿中脂質過氧化物含量,並且提升抗氧化酵素如紅血球中超氧歧化酶、葡萄糖六磷酸去氫酶、麩胱甘肽過氧化酶及麩胱甘肽還原酶等之活性。此外,由多功能膚質檢測結果顯示,飲用洛神花飲品可顯著提升受試者臉部皮膚之紅潤度及表皮水含量。


This study is a randomized, placebo controlled, double blind and cross over design. The roselle-based drink (SF-R product of Han Bu) of the test drink is provided from STANDARD FOODS Corporation. The subjects were assigned into two groups (control group and test group), no matter which group has to drink 2 bottles everyday (100mL/bottle, one bottle in the morning and one in the evening), the rate of drinking is 75.42%. There are 39 subjects (25 females and 14 males) completely involved in thirteen-month trial. The subjects are older than 40 (including older than 65). All subjects were assigned into two groups, one group drank roselle drink in the first 6 months and placebo in the next 6 months, and one month between these two periods was wash-out period; at the same time, the other group drank placebo drink in the first 6 months and drank roselle drink in the next 6 months. Blood collection was performed at the initial, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 10th, 13th month of the trial. Skin examination were performed at the initial, 6th, 7th, 13th month.
Results showed that subjects continuously drank roselle-based drink for 6 months significantly decreased systolic blood pressure (SBP), diatolic blood pressure (DBP), and increased trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC), glutathione (GSH), and decreased thiobarbituric acid reactive substances (TBARS). The activity of superoxide dismutase (SOD), glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PDH), glutathione peroxidase (GSH Px), and glutathione reductase (GSH Rd) were greatly increased.
In addition, the skin examination showed that six months of administration of roselle can significantly improve on the skin erythema and moisture of face.
