People is the most important asset in a company, most top executives in a corporate share this mindset, hence how to acquire top talents into a company is an important plan. For nearly two decades, job bank network is the most popular platform for cancidates to submit resumes and for companies to post job info and acquire talents. However, since social network comes to the world, the way people make friends and share info is changed, and the way for a company to acquire talents is also changed. LinkedIn is the world’s biggest professional social network platform, it provides a very different approach to the job matching market. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the framework of different recruitment channels, compare and find the difference between traditional and most popular job bank model and the newest social recruitment model, and analyze how social recruitment platform will impact the job matching market. This thesis uses 104, the biggest job bank platform in Taiwan and the world’s biggest professional social network platform LinkedIn as example to fulfill the analysis.
