自古以來，童話中的女巫一直是令人感興趣的角色，由於她富有神秘的魔法力量，使得身分比一般童話人物來得特殊。本論文的文本範圍將聚焦於來自於英美西三本童話著作，分別為 «女巫»（Witches，1980）、 «綠野仙蹤»（The Wonderful Wizard of Oz，1990）及 «和平女巫»（La Bruja Doña Paz，1989），以進行女巫邪惡與善良形象的比較。

以往古典童話中女巫總是扮演邪惡、殘暴的負面角色，發現其源由是來自於當時社會背景塑造出女巫邪惡的形象。然而，隨著歲月的累積，女巫形象從古典時期進入到現代幻想時期，已逐漸脫離邪惡的特質蛻變為善良的形象，這種蛻變造成女巫形象重新的定義。

本論文嘗試以心理學大師佛洛伊德人格結構觀點，從這三本文本來詮釋女巫邪惡與善良形象所隱藏的涵義，有如是本我與超我的對立；同時，也引用美國心理學家雪登‧凱許登（Sheldon Cashdan）提出 «巫婆一定得死» 的理論，分析邪惡與善良女巫對兒童心理產生何種影響。

From ancient times to the present，the witches are always interested roles in Fairy Tales. The witches are able to use the mysterious and magic powers so that they are more special than other roles in stories. In this thesis, the discussion focuses mainly on three stories which are divided in “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”, “Witches” and “La Bruja Doña Paz” in order to compare the figures of evil and goodness .
Formerly, in the Classical Fairy Tales witches always played as evil and cruel roles. We try to look back on the historical track to find the important factor in background to depict how witches were taken shapes. However, after the accumulation of years, the figures of witches have changed from evil to goodness from the classical period to Modern Fantasy. The change brings about what kind of influence on the roles of witches’ images. Therefore, it is worth to research the figures of witches’ transformation.
In this thesis, we intend to demonstrate the point of view of personality constructors of Freud, Austrian psychologist, in three stories. With the interpretation, which was provided by theories of Freud, we are able to understand the implication of the figures of witches as the opposite to “id” and “superego”. In the meanwhile, we also quote the theories of Sheldon Cashdan, American psychologist, in “Witches must be die”（1997） in order to analyze the figures of evil and goodness that cause the influence in Children’s psychology.
