背景：依據世界衛生組織（World Health Organization,WHO）2017年資料顯示，2016年全世界約有3,670萬名的HIV感染者，台灣至今也有35,414名感染者，近年來隨著醫療科技的進步，已有效降低感染者的死亡率，目前所面臨的問題不是感染者無有效的治療，感染者的社會、心理等層面問題日趨複雜化，嚴重的話可能影響到其服藥遵從性，導致疾病惡化。
目的：探討HIV感染者基本人口學特質、疾病嚴重度、社會支持度與心理健康狀態及生活品質之相關性。
方法：本研究採橫斷性調查，以人際支持量表、醫院焦慮與憂鬱量表及台灣簡明版生活品質量表之結構式問卷，收集2017-2018年間於北部某醫 學中心共67位HIV感染者的相關研究資料。
研究結果：研究對象可能有焦慮傾向為23.9%、可能有憂鬱傾向為13.4%，心理健康狀態之焦慮及憂鬱與生活品質，呈顯著性負相關；社會支持度與生活品質，呈顯著性正相關，影響HIV感染者生活品質之相關因素，可能有教育程度、經濟來源、感染原因、罹病時間、社會支持度及心理健康狀態之焦慮。
結論：由本研究結果可知，HIV感染者若社會支持度越高其生活品質越好；焦慮及憂鬱分數越高其生活品質則是越差，所以臨床醫護臨床醫療人員應多注意病人所發出之警訊，適時提供相關協助。

Background: According to the data published by the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of Human Immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected persons reached approximately 36.7 million in 2016 worldwide, and in Taiwan 35,414 patients were diagnosed with HIV up until now. In the recent years, with advances in medical technology and development of the effective treatment, mortality rate of patients living with HIV is markedly improved. The current problem is no longer the effective treatment of HIV only but the complicateds psycho social aspects of living with HIV. If not handled well, the complicated psycho social problems of HIV patients may effect anti HIV medication compliance and disease control.
Objective: To investigate the relationship between basic demographic characteristics, disease severity, social support, mental health, and quality of life of HIV-infected individuals.
Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in a medical center in the Northern Taiwan between 2017 and 2018. Data from 67 HIV infected patients were collected using a structured questionnaire. The data collected included the Interpersonal Support Scale, Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale,the Taiwan Concise Life Quality Index and relevant research data.
Results: 23.9% of the study subjects were found to have anxiety tendency and 13.4%, had a possible depression tendency. There was statistical significance negative correlation between patients’ mental health ( anxiety or depression)and their quality of life. Statistical significance positive correlation between social support and quality of life. The factors positively correlate the the quality of life of HIV-infected individuals included education, income, causes of infection, time of disease onset , good social support, and mental health.
Conclusion: The result of this study showed that the more social support he/she receive the better the quality of life of HIV patient but anxiety and depression can negatively affect their life quality. Therefore, medical personal should pay more attention to the patients psychosocial problems , provide timely assistant as necessary.
