本論文針對可維修產品,考量技術創新下,探討有限計畫期程內市場殘值對產品置換策略之影響。在技術不斷創新的過程中,市面上產品更新換代的情形十分普遍及快速。一般來說,產品會隨著使用時間而退化,當產品發生失效時,便以小修方式處理。面對新產品帶來更佳的性能與使用體驗,當初用產品隨時間退化而使維修成本漸高時,在未發生品牌轉移的情況下,消費者是否選擇購買新產品以進行置換,而置換時產品之市場殘值往往也左右著消費者的選擇。故本論文以消費者的立場考量技術創新及市場殘值下,建構產品置換之成本模式,並依據此成本模式推導產品最佳單次置換策略,進一步以數值範例探討相關成本參數與不同市場殘值算法對產品置換策略之影響。
This paper investigates the effect of carrying value on optimal replacement policy under technology innovation. Rapid innovation of technology has shortened product life cycles and boosted the upgrading and updating of product. In general, new products offer better function and customer experience than the old ones. Failures of product can be rectified by minimal repair. However, product may fail more frequently due to its inevitable deterioration. When the maintenance cost increases, without brand switching, customers may consider replace their old product with a new one. Furthermore, the carrying value of products is one of major concerns for customers. In this paper, the mathematical model for product replacement under technology innovation is constructed, and the optimal replacement policy which minimizes the expected total cost is obtained. Also, the impacts of the cost parameters and carrying value on the optimal replacement policy are analyzed through numerical examples.
