The development of the connector industry has experienced several types transformation of system structures, such as the thinning of notebook computers/tablets and the gradual reduction of mobile phone earphones. In addition to the new development opportunities that would continue to bring many connectors applications, it is expected to re-inject new drivers into the connector industry and bring a new wave of market development. Although Taiwan connector industry possesses many advantages and opportunities, there are internal weaknesses and external threats. Special strategic guidelines are needed. Due to fearless competition from China and the Sino-US trade war, this study intends to explore how the underlying J company could use SWOT analysis for enhancing competitive advantages, grasping business opportunities, increasing profitability, and creating benefits. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. The demand for global cloud servers would grow steadily in 2019, which would help to increase the connector sales . Looking forward, the continuous evolution of various high-frequency transmission interface technologies is expected to re-inject new drivers into the connector industry and bring a new wave of market development. 2. In engineering R&D, the J companys transmission characteristics of the copper conductors network components and the individual components have lead the industry, and professional technology is synchronized and competitive to the well-known foreign manufacturers. In manufacturing section, the company adopts automatic production line, reducing the dependence on labor. More importantly, the product quality would be much stable with lower production cost. This could leap the competition gap among peers. In additions, the company implants professional quality assurance concepts and skills, and adopts engineering R&D and manufacturing optimization, which could enable clients to have full guarantee and support of the company.
