Nowadays, along with other forms of business, franchising is also contributing to a lively picture of the economy. Franchise gives opportunities for those who have the capital, but do not have many business ideas and concerns about risks. Actually, franchise brings great benefits not only to the franchise but also to their partners. In addition to utilizing the entire system available, the franchisee also has benefits from the franchise. First of all, it allows people with little experience in a particular area to learn skills and build a solid business foundation based on the system created by a branded company. In other words, franchising will teach you how to do the most effective business. This study tries to find out the priority of franchise model by learning about the activities of the fast-food franchise in Vietnam.
The essence of this study is to discover the importance of building effective franchise business model that adapting demand of those who want to start-up, Vietnamese market and society to contribute to development of Vietnamese economy. The result from fast-food restaurant shows that restaurant give priority to develop their brand by Distribution Franchise and Service Franchise.
The research objectives are to discover restaurant industries franchise business strategies in Ho Chi Minh City, what restaurant’s strategies to apply and survive in a hectic and developing city, what restaurant management has done, the difficulties and the challenges that they are facing on it.
