With new technological advances, multitudes of low-cost messages have gained popularity. Smartphone as modern tool have resulted into anxiety of technology. People should consider the influence of technology. The research topic is about smartphone, to explore user' s behavior and the anxiety of using smartphone. The research is divided into two phases:the first phase of research is analyzing currently smartphone-using questionnaire to realize the situation of the main reason of anxiety. Whether the different effect to gender, ages, user's experience and attitude about technology anxiety. And the second phase of research is based on the result of previous questionnaire. To invite the participants who want to alleviate the anxious of technology and willing to comply with the experimental rules. By using different way of alleviating to compare participant’s feeling as the research results.
The results show that:(1) To most of participant, the additional function of smartphone is more important than basic communication;(2) There are different of degree between user’s gender and age. The participants between 21 and 30 years old is the most sensitive to anxiety of smartphone. The participants between 31 and 40 years old is the most addictive of smartphone; (3) Female is more anxious than male;(4) User can't be conscious of anxiety. They have overlooked the behavior of over-reliance on smartphone;(5) Only suitable way of alleviating can alleviate the smartphone-addiction and anxiety;(6) The result shows that Incentive time-counting is the best way;(7) To Force shut down the smartphone, the participants will raise addiction for smartphone, the participants will feel more anxious when smartphone be locked.
The research results as information for user to reflect on themselves. Being guiding principle for programmer or interface designer. Hope to reduce the influence of technology anxiety and create a good user experience.
