本研究主要在於瞭解表達性治療架構ETC的設計與規劃如何協助藝術治療師與青少年工作。研究者改編Lusebrink設計的「視覺化連續歷程圖」，以林德真(2008)《藝術治療介入肌肉萎縮症自傷青少女之個案研究》和許又云(2011)《焦點解決藝術治療取向對憂鬱症青少年的自我概念改變歷程探究》兩篇研究文本為研究對象，透過文本分析與ETC架構進行討論與分析。

研究結論整理如下：

一、 藝術治療師的背景與治療風格會影響其在與個案互動時，如何引導個案覺察與解決問題。
二、 助人工作者在進行藝術治療時，透過ETC架構的評估，能做出較客觀具體的衡鑑與處遇。從兩篇文本各次治療之連續化視覺歷程圖可發現，治療師藉著創作主題與媒材打破個案較為制式化的創作表現，讓他體會ETC各個層級之間的表現型式，提昇其自我感受力。

研究者根據以上研究結果加以討論並提出建議，供實務工作者與未來研究之參考依據。
