本研究探討高齡者參與運動學習歷程之研究,以樂齡中心行腳新竹課程的學員為例。研究目的:探討高齡者參與運動學習的動機;探討高齡者持續參與運動學習的因素;探討高齡者參與運動學習的困境及因應策略;探討高齡者參與運動學習的改變。為了探討高齡族群運動學習歷程,本研究採用質性研究法,並以半結構式訪談的方式,針對樂齡中心行腳新竹共計8位學員,男女各四,平均年齡67歲進行訪談,獲取本研究結論。研究結論:一、高齡者參與運動學習的動機:受訪者因別人介紹課程很好、與朋友一起走一走;高齡者參與學習後想介紹朋友參加的動機,分別是學習機會分享朋友、因為課程熱門。二、高齡者持續參與運動學習的課程因素:鍛鍊身體及開闊視野、課程內容多元安全及規劃合宜、與以往經驗不同及大眾運輸工具的應用。三、高齡者參與運動學習遇到困境:身體因腳程及體力的問題、不會看時刻表及山路難走、與工作時間衝突;困境之因應策:心境上的改變想法、透過老師的協助及提醒。四、高齡者參與運動學習的改變:1.身體方面:腳力增強、心肺功能增強、對身體幫助之感受;2.心理感受:空氣清新視野廣、三五好友談心事、陣陣花香醉人心、開心期待課程臨;3.課程多樣學習,故事及知識的收穫啟示;4.有能力手機下載運輸APP及搭乘大眾運輸;5.有能力規劃運動路線、瞭解運動調氣的重要;6.認識談得來又年齡相近的朋友、與朋友之間產生的互動;7.心情愉快及景點以前沒去過;8.生活運用:與家人開車方式再度去、景點適合與家人休閒同遊、自組暑期趴趴走及私下相約走走。

This research aim to investigate the process of older adults participate in sport learning; based on a course ‘walking’ for example. Research purposes: to explore the motivation of older adults to participate in sports learning;reasons of continuing participate in sports learning; investigate older adults’ difficulties and solution in sports learning; discuss the changes through sport learning. This is a qualitative research, using a semi-structured interview to collect the data from eight participants (four females and four males in the average age of sixty-seven-year-old) in the excursion course. Research findings and conclusions: 1) Motivation of older adults to participate in sports learning: interviewees heard about the course from their friends and they also want to spend time with their friends in the course. Reasons/motivations for participants to share the course are: firstly, the interviewee had good time in the course, so they want to share to others. Second, they heard about the course is popular. 2) The reasons of continuing participate in sports learning are: interviewee found that they can do exercise and broaden their horizons in this course. Because of the course is diversity, safe and well-planned, the participants can learn how to use public transportation with the teacher and friends’ support. 3) The older adults’ difficulties and solution in sports learning are: a) Older adults who have suffered physical problems (e.g. Exercise tolerance are not good enough to follow the group activity) can receive support from teacher. b) Participants who cannot understand the timetable of public transportation can be assisted by peers. c) The participants feel challenged in hiking could learn from past experiences and change their mindset. d) The older adults who cannot join the activity because of time set can be discussed in class. 4) The changes through sport learning is also found: a) Physical aspects: increased foot strength, cardio-respiratory function and promote healthy life; b) Psychological feelings: enjoy the fresh air and good view, friendship build up and maintaining and expectations of the upcoming course; c) Diverse course learning with story sharing and knowledge exchanging; d) Learned how to download mobile APP and take public transportation; e) Having capacity to plan sports routes, understand the importance of sports conditioning; f) Meet and interact with friends regularly who are in similar ages; g) Feeling happy to visit new scenes; h) Life skill application: driving with family members to visit the place again in leisure time. Ability to organizing a trip in summer break.
