在資訊爆漲的時代,電腦是不可或缺的工作夥伴;如何利用電腦幫助人們
於工作環境中,能有效率的處理工作,是當今國內企業組織所關切的話題
。因此EPSS因應而生。所謂EPSS,指的是Electronic Performance
Support System-電子績效支援系統,它主要功能是透過電腦工作環境,
利用電腦所提供的資訊與建議,適時給予工作輔助,進而達到幫助訓練新
進員工與解決問題,期望能更快進入工作狀況,藉此導引工作者提高工作
效率。
本研究目的在於:(1)了解企業組織提昇個人工作績效的方法、其實際成
效和可能遇到的障礙;(2)探討我國企業組織對EPSS的需求程度及影響
需求的因素;(3)探討EPSS應提供的內容與功能,企業組織對其內容與
功能的需求程度及影響內容與功能需求的因素;(4)根據需求評析結果
,提出EPSS規劃的架構,做為未來規劃、設計、發展與實施EPSS的參考。
本研究選擇企業組織內人力資源發展或教育訓練部門的人員為主要研究調
查對象,進行問卷調查。研究問卷的編製依據國內外相關文獻探討為基礎
並經過專家學者問卷諮詢,並經過前測與預試;再加上預試與正式問卷的
Cronbach (值皆大於0.7以上,表示具有一定的信度與效度。資料處理分
析,以SPSS 7.0系統進行統計分析,方法包含次數分配與百分比分析、T
檢驗、單因子變異分析、相關分析與逐步多元迴歸等統計方法。
本研究結果發現國內企業組織相當重視提昇個人工作績效的方法,但實際
成效不彰,主要是因缺乏績效支援概念、技術不足、上級支持度不夠等因
素所造成的。組織需要EPSS系統來幫助提昇個人工作績效,其內容與功能
的需求順序為資訊庫、專家系統、互動式學習、生產力與應用軟體、線上
查詢、使用者介面及其它;會影響需求的因素主要有資訊系統的缺失程度
、工作年資、員工人數,至於影響內容及功能的因素除了上述原因,還包
含提昇個人工作績效方法之重視程度與實施電腦化的年數;最後針對研究
結論提出相關建議。
Owing to the explosion of information, computers become an
inseparalbe part of our works. Therefore, the most serious
issue that companies concern is how to use computers to assist
people work effectively. That is why Electronic Performance
Support System ( EPSS ) rises.
In a computer-based information environment, EPSS can provide
just-in-time information and suggestion for workers, especially
for the new employers that need to raise the efficiency of
their works.
The main purposes of this study are: first, to understand the
ways of promoting personal work performance, the outcomes in
practice, and the obstacles may encounter in business
organizations. Second, to find the necessary degree of EPSS and
the elements that influence the necessity of EPSS. Third, to
discuss the contents and functions that are required by the
business organizations. Forth, to provide suggestions of
planning, designing, developing and carrying out EPSS by the
results of needs assessment and
analysis of this study.
Questionnaires of this survey are distributed to the people who
work in human resource development department and educational
training department in business organizations. Based upon the
literature review and the consult of experts of EPSS, the
questionnaire is completed. The pre-test and pilot study of the
questionnaire make it accurate in reliability, and the value of
Cronbach ( of the pre-test and pilot study higher than 0.7 make
the qrestionnaire accurate in validity. when pre-testing and
predicting th
is questionnaire. In data processing periods, frequency
distribution, percentage, T-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation,
and stepwise multiple regression are examined by using SPSS 7.0
for Windows.
The result of this study indicates that business organizations
pay much attention to raise personal working performance;
however, it does not make good improvement.
The elements that cause inefficiency are lacking of performance
support concepts, techniques and higher authorities'' support.
According to this study, the needs priorities of contents and
functions of EPSS include: information base, expert system,
interation learning, productivity and application software, on-
line help, and user interface.
The main elements that influence needs of EPSS include: the
imperfect degree of information system, job years, numbers of
employers, the degree of paying attention to improving personal
work performance, and the years of computerizing.
Finally, some suggestions are proposed according to this study''s conclusions.
