Over the past 100 years, a large number of documents were unearthed. Therefore, paleography has become an important research direction. In addition to allowing the public to understand the unearthed documents, Interpretation paleography can also be used as an important material for studying ancient history and literature.
" Hou fu " was written in Chu script, the writing age is in the middle and late stages of the Warring States, and those forms of writing are complicated, which is the best material for studying the script of the Warring States. " Hou fu " is a dialogue between "Wang" and " Hou fu ". Although it is only a few hundred words in length, it is rich in content and therefore has considerable research value.
Since the publication of "Tsinghua Bamboo Slips (Vol.5)", many researchers have valuable opinions on some of the original words and sentences. This study aims at the textual interpretation of " Hou fu ". It divided into five chapters, which are introduction, research literature review, the font and content of " Hou fu " bamboo slips, " Hou fu " interpretation, and the research conclusions. This study summarizes the interpretations and comments of various researchers, and then conducts textual interpretations to present a more appropriate interpretation of the " Hou fu ".
