臺灣博碩士論文加值系統

有鑒於圖里的描述翻譯學鼓勵人們描述翻譯活動，研究者觀察到「創譯」作為一個概念與現象，在產業界十分興盛發達，但未受到翻譯研究(Translation Studies)的重視，因此特以創譯為題，探討創譯於產業界的實際應用情況。本論文有四個重點：（一）透過文獻探討，找出創譯的歷史蹤跡，證實創譯歷史悠久，應用廣泛。（二）記錄創譯應用疆界的拓寬，以創譯的新應用領域「配音翻譯」作為重點，訪談台灣卡通頻道翻譯總監，了解公司內部的創譯由來、創譯流程、人員架構，並以案例《探險活寶》進行文本分析，找出該卡通的創譯策略。（三）為創譯訂下廣義定義、明確特色、核心元素、執行限制。（四）討論創譯與翻譯研究的共通性，希望創譯有機會從產業走進學術，取得應有的地位。

Gideon Toury, the promoter of Descriptive Translation Studies, campaigned for the truthful description of translational activities. Having observed "Transcreation" as a common concept and phenomenon which is employed in the industry sectors yet remaining largely unknown to academia, I find it appropriate and timely that scholarly attention be paid to such an industry practice. This thesis is an endeavor to achieve the following objectives: (a) to document the wide applicability and history of transcreation through literature review; (b) to unveil another industry sector that practices translation by interviewing the Dubbing Associate Director of Taiwan Cartoon Network and conducting a text analysis of Adventure Time; (c) to define transcreation and identify its characteristics, essential elements and limits; (d) to bring transcreation to the academic arena by identifying the similarities between transcreation and translation studies.
