本個案公司研華以工業電腦起家，洞悉AIoT物聯網帶來的龐大商機，從2015年開始，布局工業物聯網生態系的發展分四階段推動，首先推出物聯網雲平台WISE-PaaS，以一連串轉型策略驅使公司從標準硬體製造銷售，轉移到軟、硬體整合的加值服務型態，期以生態系帶動產業全面轉型升級。

然而，面臨產業破碎化的挑戰，許多企業的設備及系統間的連結及整合困難重重，加上大部分的企業都沒有能力及資源能夠串連及整合軟硬體，因此本個案公司透過「解耦」(Decoupling)、「重構」(Refactoring)不斷迭代調整定義平台架構，以開發「工業APP」(I.App)因應推展上的困境。

Advantech, the company in this case, started out with industrial computers and understood the huge business opportunities brought by the AIoT. Since 2015, the development of the industrial Internet of Things ecosystem has been promoted in four stages. First, it launched the IoT cloud platform WISE-PaaS. The transformation strategy drives the company to shift from standard hardware manufacturing and sales to a value-added service that integrates software and hardware, hoping to drive the overall transformation and upgrading of the industry through the ecosystem.

However, faced with the challenge of industry fragmentation, many companies have difficulties in connecting and integrating their equipment and systems, and most companies do not have the ability and resources to connect and integrate software and hardware. "Decoupling" and "Refactoring" continuously iteratively adjust and define the platform architecture to develop "Industrial APP" (I.App) to cope with the difficulties in promotion.
