粒片板為目前木質材料中使用量最多之一,其主要優點為改善了木材之異
方性缺點,使板材之長寬方向尺寸變化降低,也同時擴大了木質材料之原
料來源,但粒片板在厚度方向之膨脹仍為一主要問題,因木材細胞壁之主
要構造成分纖維素、半纖維素及木質素上之羥基易與水分結合,造成粒片
板厚度膨脹。這種缺點可經由化學物質與木材結構中的官能基引起化學反
應,使木材產生化學變性,乙醯化即為化學變性之一。木材之乙醯化是將
醋酸酐與木材反應,反應後醋酸酐之疏水性乙醯基,置換了木材細胞壁上
親水性羥基,藉以達到尺寸安定之目的。本研究是採用臺灣杉、麻六甲合
歡、臺灣泡桐、山黃麻等四種樹種製備長薄片型粒片進行乙醯化處理,再
製成粒片板,並測定其尺寸安定性與機械性能,評估乙醯化處理之效果,
其主要結果如下:1.以臺灣杉,麻六甲合歡,泡桐及山黃麻製造乙醯化
長薄型粒片板,於不同濕度環境下,乙醯化處理之粒片及粒片板的平衡含
水率較對照組低約40∼50%2.在浸水試驗方面,乙醯化粒片板在六
天之吸水厚度膨脹率在不同樹種及不用膠量僅為對照組之15%∼25%
,吸水率方面則為對照組粒片板之45%∼80%3.乙醯化粒片板有效
降低粒片板在熱壓時所產生之壓縮應力,減低粒片板之厚度回彈,在乾濕
反覆吸水厚度變化下,其可有效降低可回復厚度膨脹及不可回復厚度膨脹
4.四種樹種製成之長薄片型粒片板之機械性質均達到中國國家標準所規
定之200型粒片板標準,惟乙醯化組因處理後之疏水性表面造成膠合時
之濕潤性不佳,其中內聚力之降低最劇,最大值為67%,其次為 MOR有
30%∼40%之降低值,而 MOE及保釘力則保有較佳之機械性質,其僅
降低約10%∼20%

Four species including Taiwania cryptomerioides Albizzia falcata
﹑Paulownia taiwaniana and Trema orientalis were used in this
experiment. Flakes were prepared for acetylation. Two adhesives
and threee resin contents were used to manufacture the
flakeboard, then physical and mechanial properties of the board
were determined. The main results obtained in this experiment
may be summarized as the follows: 1.Acetylation causes a great
reduction in equilibrium moisture content by 40%∼50% when
acetylated flakeboard were placed at various relative humidity
condition. 2.In water soaking test, acetylated flakeboards
showed only 15%∼25% in thickness swelling for six days water
soaking,the water absorption was only 45%∼80% of the
untreated woods. 3.Acetylated wood could reduce the compressed
stress that occurred in hot pressing period that produced in
hot press. and it could reduce the springback of flakeboard.
The Irreversible swelling and reversible swelling could be
reduced effectively in the oven dry/water soaking cycles test
too. 4.The mechanical properties of four species flake board
could meet the CNS 2215-02012 reguirments for the type 200
particle- board. Acetylation also reduces the hydrophilic
nature of wood which resulting in poor flake wettability. It
would cause reduction in internal bonding strength by 67%,MOR
by 30%∼40% , and 10%∼20% of MOE and nail holding tenacity.
