In order to produce high-energy particles, various types of particle accelerators have been constructed. Experiments in particle physics require not only accelerators to provide particles, but also detectors to determine what happens in the reactions. Gaseous detectors are first used in high energy physics experiments, but semiconductor detectors are better than the former, due to their high density and their fast time response. Up to the present, three kinds of semic- onductor detectors have been invented.The Silicon Microstrip Detector ( SMD ) is the best for its fastest readout time. Recently, a lot of double-sided SMDs have been fabricated successfully. But they are all DC readout. In this work, we design a double-sided SMD, including the junction side and the ohmic side with AC readout, and they are fabricated ind- ividually on different wafers. Finally, the electrical properties and the spacial response show that these SMDs do fit the original requirements.
