公司管理者在制定決策時，其主要目標即為〞使股東財富極大化〞。為了
達成這個目標，管理者則必須不斷地尋求能使公司成長及獲利的機會，而
為了融通這些計劃所需的資金，就必須使用許多融資工具，除了傳統的負
債和自有資金的運用外﹐融資性租賃也逐漸地成為公司融資的方法之一。
我國融資性租賃業務的發展，自民國六十一年十一月第一、中聯、中國、
國泰、華僑等五家信託投資公司開辦機器設備租賃業務為開端，迄今已有
二十年的歷史﹐而企業使用融資性租賃之情況究竟如何﹐則為本研究探討
的重點；因此本研究擬以問卷的方式就以下三方面進行討論： (1) 分析
企業使用融資性租賃之現況。 (2) 瞭解企業對於融資性租賃功能之評估
。 (3) 探討影響企業使用融資性租賃之潛在因素。　　經過檢定、分析
﹐獲得以下的結論： (1) 在α=0.10 的顯著水準之下﹐產業因素對租賃
程度的影響為顯著。 (2) 根據Tobit分析的結果﹐企業的負債比率愈高，
其租賃程度也愈高，顯示負債和租賃之間為互補關係，而非替代關係，這
個結果與Ang & Peterson (1984)和Finucane(1988)的研究結果一致﹐不
同於過去許多學者認為租賃與負債之間為替代關係的看法。 (3) 在受訪
的341家企業中，對於融資性租賃至少大略瞭解的比例高達87.9%﹐而只
有2.1%的企業表示完全沒聽過，足見融資性租賃的知識，已顯著地擴散至
企業界。 (4) 受訪企業中，使用融資性租賃的比例約為27.9%；而承租企
業中有58.9%認為租賃最大的缺點在於租金太高。 (5) 在未承租企業中，
有57.7%的企業未使用融資性租賃的主要原因是有更好的資金來源；而根
據企業籌措資金方式的調查顯示，融資性租賃在所列之六項籌措資金方式
中，排名第五，僅優先於民間借款。 (6) 受訪企業對於〞利潤之獲得並
非靠機器設備之擁有，而是在其使用〞的論點，頗為贊同，顯示企業對租
賃的基本精神予以肯定；而在13個論點中，唯一為企業表示不贊同的論點
，則為〞融資性租賃成本較其他融資方式為低〞﹐至於〞租賃未來將廣泛
被利用成為資金融通方式之一〞的論點，受訪企業並未表示明顯地贊同或
不贊同。

Financial Leasing has become one of the fund sources gradually
in Taiwan and has developed for twenty years. Therefore, how
companies use financial leasing is the main point of this
research. The purpose of the study has three : 1. To analyse
why companies use financial leasing and to investigate the
situation that companies use financial leasing. 2. To view how
the companies evaluated the function of financial leasing. 3.
To analyse what properties of a compony lead to this company
to use finacial leasing. We have the following findings: 1. The
industrial factor significantly affected the degree of the
use of financial leasing. 2. By the TOBIT analysis , the higher
the debt ratio, the more the use of financial leasing. This
result appeared that debt and financial leasing is
complements. 3. The know-how of financial leasing is widely
known by componies. 4. The disadvantage of financial
leasing is its expensive rent. 5. The better sources of fund
cause companies not to use financial leasing. 6. The attitude
of companies toward equipment was to obtain the use right not
the property right.
