選取酵母類、蛋白類、銨鹽類等三類九種物質進行單物質對瓜實蠅
(Dacus cucurbitae Coquillett)誘殺效果之網室測試,結果酵母類之酵
母水解物、酵母抽出物、臺糖酵母粉及蛋白類之黃豆蛋白、酪蛋白
A、酪蛋白B對瓜實蠅之誘殺率均高,皆在55%以上。九種物質分別與糖
蜜等量混合後,除酪蛋白B外,其餘蛋白類及酵母類之五種物質對瓜
實蠅之誘殺率,皆高於糖蜜本身之誘殺率,誘殺率均在71%以上。五種誘
殺率較高之物質與糖蜜依不同比例混合,進行誘殺效果試驗,結果而得各
物質與糖蜜之最佳混合比例,其中以糖蜜+酪蛋白A 9:1之混合物(1TR9
M)誘殺率最高。以食物引誘劑(1TR9M)引誘瓜實蠅時,誘殺器外壁附加全
張黃色誘蟲黏紙後,可提高其誘殺率。於1TR9M中添加乙酸乙酯後(1TR9
ME)可增加1TR9M對瓜實蠅之誘殺率達1.4倍。食物引誘劑(1TR9M)在白天時
對瓜實蠅皆有引誘作用,而其引誘高峰出現在15:30∼17:30時段中。不同
餵食處理下之瓜實蠅,對糖及酪蛋白B之需求與反應不同,只餵食糖的
個體,對酪蛋白B之反應較為強烈,反之只餵食酪蛋白B者,對糖之反
應則較強烈。餵食糖及糖+酪蛋白B之瓜實蠅,成蟲於羽化第2∼3日齡及
第15∼17日齡時之個體,對食物引誘劑(1TR9ME)之引誘反應間無顯著差異
,但餵食糖的第7∼9日齡正值性成熟的成蟲,對含蛋白質之1TR9ME的需求
至為明顯。瓜實蠅經1天饑餓後,對1TR9ME之引誘反應,顯著較未饑餓者
為高。瓜實蠅密度過高時,會降低其對1TR9ME之誘殺率。密度相同而活動
空間不同時,1TR9ME於小空間中之誘殺效果較大空間者為佳。
Nine substances from yeasts, peptones and ammonium salts
werelected and tested in the screen house in order to find out
the most attractive material for the melon fly.It is found that
yeast hydrolysate,yeast extract,yeast powder,bacto-soytone,
tryptone and bacto-peptone were the most available attractive
substances foron flies.When these substances(expect bacto-
peptone) mixedasses by 1:1 respectively,each of the mixture
showed morein attracting melon fly than the molasses used
alone. From the tests of molasses mixed with these five
substances, res- pectively,with various mix ratios,the best mix
ratio was obtained for each of the molasses mixture.Among them
the mixture of mol- asses and tryptone by 9:1 was the most
attractive to melonfly.The trap used for capturing melon fly
with food attractant was impro- ved by coating the external
with yellow insect adhesive trap pap- er.Ethyl acetate might
increase the attractiveness for 1.4 imesn contained in bait 1TR9
M(1TR9ME) than 1TR9M used alone. Thetion of food attractant
(1TR9M) to melon fly occurred thr- oughout the daytime hours
and the peak were appeared on 15:30∼ 17:30. The need and
response of melon flies to sugar and bacto- peptone differed
with their various feeding history.Sugar-feeding individuals
responsed to bacto-peptone stronger than to sugar,d vice versa.
The attractiveness of food attractant(1TR9ME) to 7~9 days old
melon flies which originally fed only on sugar that undergoing
for sexual maturation were significantly hungry for 1TR9ME
containing proteins. Flies showed more responsive to the
attraction of 1TR9ME when starved for 1 day than the non-
starved individuals.The attractiveness of 1TR9ME to melon flies
decreased when fly density was too high. However with the same
density, the percentage of attraction was significantly higher
in smaller activity space than in larger space.
