Ongoing continuous improvement is the only way that local industry can stay survive in the fierce competition market. However, there are many continous improvement approaches and each one has its merits and drawback. In this thesis, five different ongoing continous improvement approaches are studied and compared, there are: Theory Of constraints (TOC) , Kepner-Tergeo (k-T), 7QC Tools, New 7QC Tools and Crisis Management. The comparison is based on their concept, problem solving techniques and communication process. Mapping of on-going continous improvement approaches to problem domains is also derived.
